It is often a once-in-a-lifetime event that requires careful planning, confidentiality, accurate valuation, effective marketing, buyer screening, negotiation, and transaction management. My role is to guide business owners through that entire process and help them achieve the best possible outcome.
As a business broker, I specialize in representing business owners who are ready to sell their businesses and helping qualified buyers identify and acquire the right opportunities. Whether a business is highly profitable, struggling, owner-dependent, family-operated, or part of a specialized industry, I work closely with my clients to develop a strategy that maximizes value and increases the likelihood of a successful sale.
I understand that most business owners are busy running their companies and cannot devote the time required to manage a sale. That’s where I come in. From preparing the business for market and determining a realistic asking price to maintaining confidentiality, marketing the opportunity, qualifying buyers, coordinating due diligence, and managing negotiations, I oversee the process from start to finish so my clients can remain focused on operating their businesses.
My background combines extensive business ownership experience with a strong corporate and technical foundation. For more than fifteen years, I have owned and operated businesses myself, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges, risks, and rewards of entrepreneurship. Prior to becoming a business owner, I spent fifteen years in corporate leadership roles as a Products and Services Development Manager, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
I hold two Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering as well as Software Engineering and am the inventor on 26 patents. Having worked with organizations ranging from startups to globally recognized institutions such as Johnson & Johnson, and NASA, I bring a broad perspective to evaluating businesses across many industries. My experience includes manufacturing, medical devices, CNC machining, service businesses, childcare operations, technology-related companies, and other owner-operated enterprises.
Because I have personally built, operated, and grown businesses, I understand what buyers look for and what sellers need to do to maximize value. I also recognize that every business is different, and every owner’s goals are unique. Some clients want the highest possible sale price, while others prioritize finding the right buyer, protecting employees, preserving a legacy, or achieving a timely transition. My job is to help align the transaction with those objectives.
